Stefanie runs Almond as a one-chair suite: one client at a time, with no one waiting behind you. She builds thin builder-gel overlays and does short natural manicures, and she looks at your natural nails before she picks a product.
Builder-gel overlay
A thin layer of builder gel over your own nails, for people who want a neat, short nail with a little structure.
It suits you if you like your nails as they are and want them to hold their shape through a working week. It is not an extension: it does not add length, and it is not acrylic.

The visit
We talk about the shape and length you want, then look at your natural nails together.
Cuticle care, a gentle buff and a dry wipe, so the gel has a clean nail to sit on.
A thin layer of builder gel goes over each nail and is cured under the lamp, in two coats.
A short shape, your color, a top coat and cuticle oil. Then we book your fill.
Time and price
The booking page shows both for the service you choose.
A new overlay takes longest. A fill rebalances your growth in less time, so it takes less.
A simple line, a French edge or a color change adds a few minutes and a little to the price.
Removal and aftercare
If your nails were done elsewhere, book removal before an overlay. Please don't pull off gel yourself.
Your nail grows, so the overlay is rebalanced at a fill, usually three to four weeks on.
Tell us within a week and we will look at it with you.
